After graduating from university, Mr. Afkhami began his career working on a governor’s campaign, followed by a U.S. Senate campaign in Arizona. He later joined AREÁD, where he took on roles in operations, accounting, finance, and construction. He went on to attend law school in Washington, D.C., where he worked in the War Crimes Research Office and participated in the Community Economic and Equity Development Clinic. Currently, as part of the leadership team at AREÁD, Mr. Afkhami manages the company’s incoming and outgoing contracts. He also brings valuable legal experience from his work with the real estate law firm Berens Blonstein PLC in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Afkhami holds a BA in Political Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.
